Why Victor perceives his monster this way:

Victor’s harsh judgement against his creation derives from fear. Since Victor suppresses his guilt for creating his monster in the first place, his own ego overshadows his ability to utilize proper judgement. Shelley communicates that our cognitive abilities can either hinder or better our judgements. When we are fearful of confronting our emotions, we often push them away and try to shut them off; thereby, we project these emotions onto those around us. When the monster explains to Frankenstein that “the human senses are insurmountable barriers to [their] union,” he reinforces Victor’s misplaced sense of prejudice (104). The monster grows aware to his own creator’s blind hate against him, causing the monster to react accordingly.
