My Needs

My needs, I obviously need the basic ones such as food, water, shelter, etc. but I also need things like safety. I want to feel safe in the places I go such as my home, school, or large crowded areas. I believe you should always feel safe in the places you go but now a days it’s hard to feel that way. I also need good relationships with the people around me. I never want to have a bad relationship with someone I’m close to.

I grew up in Blaine MN and have lived there for my entire life. I live with my mom, my dad, my younger sister, and my 2 cats. Most of my aunts and uncles moved from Minnesota to live in Tennessee so I don’t get to see them very much. My grandparents also recently retired and moved down to South Carolina. My family and my grandparents are the only ones still in Minnesota. I have travelled to a few states such as Nevada, Tennessee, South Carolina, New York, and Florida. My favorite has to be South Carolina where I spend most of my summer.

My strengths as a person are that I am a hard worker, I’m always on time, and I am very trustworthy. These are my strengths because they make me a person someone can always rely on to be there when it matters and someone they can always talk to without worry. These strengths also lead to more opportunities in the future.

I am interested in Sports, music, and traveling. I’m interested in sports because it’s a major part of who I am. I play both softball on a regular bases and have been for 9 years and I also recently joined tennis this past fall. Music is everywhere you go and you’re constantly learning about the different types and hearing new things. Lastly, traveling is something I love to do. I love going new places I’ve never been and seeing what it’s like in different areas and states. Last may I took a trip to NYC for the first time, it was such a different snd fun experience.

My Summer

This year I spent my summer mostly playing softball. Every weekend from June to July I spent with my softball team playing in a different tournament and traveling to a different city/state to play. It took up most of my summer with practices and games but I had fun regardless. I also spent time with my friends when I got the chance to. During my time away from school I definitely slept a lot more than I normally get. I got around 12 hours of sleep per night. It was great. Lastly in August I flew to South Carolina and spent a lot of time at the beach

Something Going Well

Something going well in my life right now is softball. Softball is something I really enjoy and is a part of who I am today. I have been playing for almost 10 years and have loved every minute of it. Through this sport I have learned so many things and have made many life long friends. It is definitely one of the main highlights in my life today.
