In our current social landscape where anyone can talk to anyone through the internet it is very difficult to be completely solitary. However in social climates like colleges where everyone seems to be connected it is hard for some not to feel solitude. The duality of the internet is another example for some it is a basic necessity to stay in the know, for others without access to the internet it can feel very excluding and lonely. These modern forms of isolation can be very bad for an individual's mental health which can lead to behavioral problems in kids and other problems in adults.
