The Euphrates River has very small tributaries which feeds into the shallow freshwater lakes.This helps settle cities because the villagers that needed water could go there for fresh water.The Tigris river while only Northeast of the Euphrates river still helped settle cities. There is a lot of hydroelectric power plants in the Tigris river. Tigris also has a rich history that goes back to the earliest known civilizations because of it's importance to a very dry religion.This impacted Mesopotamia because in a very dry region it needs a river that has fresh water so they don't die of dehydration.

The laws are important because if there weren't any laws,not only Mesopotamia would be chaotic but the whole world.Laws and government keeps the world safe. There are different laws in states for a reason..to keep the world save from harm.Hammurabi's code of laws told me that the laws might be strict but they'll keep Mesopotamia safe. Hammurabi's laws was important to Mesopotamia because just like our laws we have in America, they keep us safe and keep the streets clean enough,and that is why it's also important to the Mesopotamian people.The laws in Mesopotamia are important today because we can look at them and compare our laws to theirs and see how different they are.

The populations of these cities were divided into social classes. the three class divisions that were present was the Upper class,the middle class,and the lower class.The lower class consisted of slaves and all the people that had the manual labor jobs.a possible job for the upper class would be a scribe,a skill for the upper class would be pottery,and cuneiform, which were wedge-shaped marks inscribed on clay.Scribes were trained to record many of the languages spoken in Mesopotamia.A job for the middle class is a craftsmen, they made everyday useful items like dishes, pots, clothing, baskets, boats, etc;
