         <description><![CDATA[<div>Transcription is the synthesis of mRNA from a section of DNA<br><br>Transcription begins when RNA polymerase attaches to promoter sequence located before the start of the gene. <br><br>The RNA polymerase builds a strand of mRNA (5' t 3')  using free ribonucleotides (adenine, guanine, cytosine, uracil) which are freely available in the nucleus <br><br>The enzyme the catalyses a strong covelent bond between the ribonucleotides to form an RNA strand sugar phosphate backbone<br><br>Assembly of the mRNA strand is similar to DNA replication except that as the strand is being built from ribonucleotides there is no need for a primer<br><br>transcription termination DNA sequences tell RNA pol<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Transcription is the synthesis of mRNA from a section of DNA. <br><br>RNA polymerase is the enzyme responsible for transcription.<br><br>RNA moves along the gene strand from the Promotor causing unwinding and unzipping of the double helix structure of DNA and brings about the syntthesis of an mRNA molecule.<br><br>Primary transcript of mRNA has coding areas made up of Exons and introns and as the INtrons have been removed from the mRNA by Splicing it creates the Mature mRNA strand.<br><br>DNA transcribed to mRNA is about 8000 nucleotides long. only 1200 nucleotides are required to code an average sized polypeptides.<br><br> <br><br></div>]]></description>
