I think it would have been difficult for my parents to understand this but it might have been better for me - I might have been able to find myself earlier than it took me :)

If I were to do what Steve Jobs did, my parents would not understand why I make that decision. Personally, the thought of dropping out of college looks like a big risk but it also comes with a great reward if you manage your time wisely and invest in high paying skills.

I understand his side, having working class parents and being unable to afford college. I understand his position and I would do the same.

If I had to drop out of college, I would have been working at a young age. Back then, graduating from college wasn't really a major factor in being selected by employers, and at that time, I would have had a position at the company.

If I would have dropped out from college, I would have just proven my parents were right on how they view education that it's not the key to success nor it wouldn't change our lives. I wouldn't be able to appreciate that how we live our lives meaningfully differs towards the purpose and values we uphold.
