I found this text on the cover of my LIFE book in my room. The text for "100 photographs" reminds me of Times New Roman, one of my favorites. The text below seems to be a subtitle since it's smaller, located below, and has a light gray scale.

I found this text on a piece of art hanging in my home. The text is interesting, some parts are very thick while others are thinner, a sort of calligraphy style. It's also cool to see the different sizes and use of italics in the globe part.

I found this text on a pack of dried mango I was eating. The difference in the two texts is interesting, however, they blend rather seamlessly. I think the two different texts could be spaced further apart, however, to increase readability.

I found this text on a bottle of hair spray I use every day. I like the way this company decided to connect the "X's" since it adds a nice centerpiece of focus for the company name. All of the leading info is smaller, which seems like a marketing strategy, or a way to enhance the importance of each different text being displayed.

I found this text on the cover of one of my books. I like the whimsical aspect of the text and the bold, large size of the font. I think the text itself does a good job of representing the feeling associated with this book, which seems intentional. It's simple yet compact and forward.

Found this on a wedding invitation in my room! I've always had a connection to this form of calligraphy since it is so free and playful. The lines coming out from each end of "The" make for a nice separation between the top and bottom text. I like the different font choices too, it seems to express the urgency of SAVING THE DATE!

I found this text on a bottle of kombucha. The font size seems a bit overbearing and a little hard to understand, but other than that, I like the dot that separates the words "health" and "aid".

This text was on the cover of one of my books. I think it is very interesting how the text aligns with the theme of the book and has a sort of transulent feel to it. The words themselves look unsure and wavery as if they are strangers.

My hair mouse that I use every day. I chose this due to the number of style variations within the font choices. It seems that the more important words are bolded, and the descriptive words are smaller or cursive. The brand of this mouse is at the top, which makes it the most important to the viewer in terms of visual hierarchy.

I like the different fonts on this bottle of body lotion from Trader Joe's. The brand of the product is at the top because they want the viewer to notice that first. The rest of the information follows in terms of what is most important: the name of the product is bold and easily legible, while the descriptions are smaller.

A Pokémon card that a customer at work gifted to me today! I found the spacing of the numbers along the left edge to be interesting, and I wonder if it would look better with the numbers closer to their corresponding powers. If the two were closer, I think it would be easier to understand which numbers are associated with which powers.

My bottle of heaven, also known as Aquaphor. The order of info in this bottle is in the exact order of how I would think the company wants the reader to view it. However, the red background makes it a little hard to read in the "healing ointment" portion.

A record that I own named "Ctrl", as we can see by the title. I like the detailing in the "L, T," and "D" along the left margin. The use of capitalization at the bottom is also a nice touch.

I Found this text on a candle in my home. The design of the brand logo was what pulled me in. The sweeping motion of the "K" makes the logo pop and the spacing of the letters helps with this factor.

Text on my Panera bag from lunch today! I love the orange characters on the sides and the large display font. I think it could benefit from a little more variation in font, but I do enjoy the overall typography.

Today, we look at a bottle of tanning lotion. It seems inconvenient to have to turn my head to read the company's name since it contradicts the natural line of viewing we are used to. I do, however, enjoy the color palette along with the tracking within the font.

This text was on a poster at a shop I went to today. The type matches the aesthetic of the poster entirely, and the baseline of each letter adds an interesting form to the shape. It may be a little hard to read due to this fact, but I think it is just for aesthetic pleasure.

This text was on my roommate's hair product, and I thought it was very interesting. The stroke variation within the "wow" is what drew me in. It's a very clean approach that seems to complement the chrome background.
