1.I enjoyed the story Beowulf because it is a classic fairy tale story of a hero fighting a monster and saving the day and it reminds me of stories my parents would tell me when I was growing up.
2. This story relates to this picture from one of my favorite movies, Shrek, because they tell similar stories of fighting off a dragon/ monster to save people.

1. I enjoy this time period because this is when literature shifted to focus on humanism and began telling realistic stories that empowered people or taught a life lesson.
2. This time period gave birth to Shakespeare who created the classic love story "Romeo and Juliet" that is used as an allusion in so many wonderful songs today, such as Taylor Swifts, "Love Story".

1.I like this time period because it promoted equality for all people and told many individuals went against societal expectations to stand up for what they believe is just.
2.Today, we live in a society where we are constantly fighting for equality just like people did in the romantic period. This article contains modern ideas about frighting for equality and how that looks in our culture today.

1.I like this time period because it created the beginning of popular fictional characters such as ghosts, monsters, and vampires that are still used in many scary movies and stories today.
2. This is a picture of my favorite Netflix show that reminds me of this time period because this is the era when characters like that were invented. The picture below shows the characters that play vampires in a modern show.
