         <description><![CDATA[<div>My special reader as well as the other students have&nbsp;their own journal to write in. On the first page she got to draw a picture of herself and write that it is their journal. One thing I noticed about the journal is that they mostly used it to write the alphabet.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Rhyming families</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My special reader as well as the other students write different rhyming families in their journal and this was one of them. She had to rhyme words with -at and wrote them in a little house to show that they were a “family”. However, she wrote the -at incorrectly at the top. </div>]]></description>

         <title>All About My Pumpkin</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The students got to create their own pumpkin out of construction paper and write about it. This was my special readers pumpkin. She created the pumpkin and then wrote a sentence to describe it. Then the teacher glued the sentence sheet to the pumpkin and hung them in the classroom.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Turkey in Disguise</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The students had an assignment to take an outline of a turkey home and to disguise however they like. However, they could not just draw on it or color it. My special reader disguised her turkey as a ballerina and then wrote a sentence describing her turkey. The teacher ended up hanging up their creation in the classroom. </div>]]></description>

My special reader created four sections and wrote the answers in each square. She was also able to draw pictures to show what she wrote in each square. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Phonics Lesson</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This phonics lesson was when they were learning the letter “Rr”. She began by writing each letter they have already learned and then they circle all the letter R’s in the box. Then she flipped her paper over and wrote the words that the teacher said out loud to the class according to the correct number. </div>]]></description>
