In this peer reviewed article, Darrell M. West and John R. Allen discuss on how AI is a plus to society and can help improve the world with its ability to adapt and process data. "AI is a technology that is transforming every walk of life. It is a wide-ranging tool that enables people to rethink how we integrate information, analyze data, and use the resulting insights to improve decision making."

In this peer reviewed article, Mohammed Arief, explains the limitations of AI and how it should only be able to process so much because regardless of computer intelligence, the human mind is still needed. "Peer review is a complex process that involves evaluating a manuscript's content, methodology, and contribution to the field. AI can evaluate some of these factors, but it can never replace the expertise and judgment of human reviewers."

Here's a full PDF of Richard E. Mayer's, Multimedia Theory. The assumption that I chose to focus on was the limited-capacity assumption. "The limited capacity assumption is that humans are limited in the amount of material they can process in each channel at one time. Capacity limitations are a central feature of Chandler and Sweller's (1991; Sweller, 1999) cognitive load theory and Baddeley's (1992, 1999) model of working memory, as well as other models of working memory (Miyake & Shah, 1999)."

Limited-capacity assumption is about the process of how much a woman can intake and withhold new information. In a pattern overtime like a skill, you may be able to utilize this information long term, if you have the mental capacity to do so. Here, you learn how working memory allows a person to hold limited amount of information that can be used for immediate mental use. Versus using sensory memory, it may be gone at an instant like when you were about to do something but you forgot what you wanted to do.
