         <title>Stamp Act (1765)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This act required all colonies to put a stamp on a variety of printed materials. Colonies imposed the act, leading to opposition which was rather violent. In 1766 the act was repealed. The colonists start to realize the unjust acts that Great Britain is doing.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Colonists continued to have a dispute over British actions. Colonies had to rebel to protect themselves. The first Continental Congress was formed in Philadelphia. Members of Congress urged the colonists to organized armed groups called militias. The colonists did not like their home country.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Boston Massacre (1770)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Group of Protesters called Patriots gathered in Boston to protest against British troops. The Patriots got a little to rowdy and started throwing things to the British. British guards including Private Hugh Montgomery shot at the Protesters. After the altercation, approximately five people were dead and three were injured. The relationship between the Colonies and Britain worsen.</div>]]></description>

Lots of money, men, and land was lost mostly from the British army. The colonists were even more infuriated and this lost was a boost to their morale and spirits. </div>]]></description>
