After the Sawi tribe would kill their victim they would do a ritual where they dance around a fire and sing songs while they eat their victims body and use their bones to make jewelry. The Sawi tribe would initiate war by doing some kind of dance to possibly intimidate the opponent while yelling insults to the opponent. They believed that treachery went ahead before anything. before Don the people of the tribe were head hunters and would take advantage of the other tribes. Many people of the tribe have converted to Christianity and the world's largest circular building made strictly from un-milled poles were constructed in 1972 as a Christian meeting place by the Sawi. Christian missionary Don  who lived with the Sawi tribe wrote a book about the experience called Peace Child.
