"eye for an eye"

One of my favorite works to this day. I chose this piece of art because the only visible color is pink. it makes me feel very feminine and the photograph looks like it carries a story behind it. I'd love to see my work displayed and hear people give their own stories to the photograph. I believe this photograph follows the color element of art because although it's just one color, its very bright and bold.

This photograph was recently in an art show and won an award. I'm very proud of this photograph and that's why i chose it. I can confidently say that this was one of my best pieces of art and I'm excited to see that others believed so as well. This photograph follows the texture element of art because of the detail and different textures that can be seen in the dog's face.

I chose this image because it gives me nostalgia of the summer night bonfires my family used to have after a long day at the beach or at the lake. photos of sunsets are where my love for photography started, and I love that no sunset is ever the same. i believe this photograph demonstrates the element of art color and space because there's several colors to see and so much of the image is taken up by these colors.

My newfound love for pet photography began with this photo. This cat was known to be very mean with people but when she approached me and just sat down, i had to take a picture to remember the day. i found her colors beautiful and decided to turn her into a star. Since then, I've been asked to take photographs of people's pets so they can frame them in their homes. This photograph follows the principle of design of emphasis because she's the star of the photo.

Just a group of friends taking risks and living freely. This to me is what happiness is. I would love nothing more than to spend a day with my friends and do crazy (but legal) things and wake up the next morning and do it all again. The group of people in this photograph were strangers but i was living my dream through them while watching them cliff dive and have fun. This photograph depicts the principle of design of unity because everything around it is full of greenery and similar features.

I chose this photo because after doubting myself and my photography kills, I decided to give high key photography a shot. This photograph turned out so good that it made it into an art show ! I was so proud of myself for trying to learn a new skill. This photograph depicts the element of art of shape because you can see different shaped with the way the kisses are arranged.

I had the honor of taking my brothers first family photo. I'm proud if my brother and how far he has come after having so much conflict within himself. I chose this photograph just to show that there's always light at the end of the tunnel and how a new family can change a person.

My favorite pastime activity is building Legos. I find them fun and I love that they have tons of different sets. it makes me feel like an architect. I chose this photo because i liked the idea of combining one hobby(building Legos) with another (photography). I think this photograph demonstrates the element of art of line. Every Lego piece is blocky and there's tons of different lines one its completed.

my moms favorite flowers are orchids and she has our house full of them. I saw these orchids at the national botanical garden and they were nothing I've ever seen before. the colors and their shapes were fascinating and I had to take a picture. I chose this photo because I found it beautiful. this photographs follows the principle design of pattern. if you look closely, each flower has the same colors and same shapes and everything, its an ongoing patter within the plant.

cat and mouse

Fishing is the human version of a cat trying to catch a mouse. The exhilarating feeling when you catch a fish is addicting. Its fun and time consuming. Some people find fishing boring and unmoral but to me its an innocent cat and mouse game. There's so much history behind fishing that its peaceful and in my opinion seeing the different colored fish is beautiful.

My photo shows the element of art of texture, you can see how spiky the fin looks and how rough the fishes body looks.

My first set of wheels! i had just bought my car and I was so excited to have been able to buy myself a brand new set of wheels. I have a passion for cars much like my passion for photography. I also chose this image because I like how all the colors in the photograph match. This photograph follows the element of art of shape because the wheels contain circles, rectangles and trapezoids.

My future car, a Porsche 911. I love this photo because i have it as my wallpaper as something I'm working hard for. This specific Porsche was redesigned by an artist named Nakai San. This artist turns luxury cars into art and I was fortunate enough to see one of his original works. I think this photo shown the element of art of form because of all the curves and shapes that can be found on the car.

Every summer for the last 4 years I've been going to Lake Anna to stay for the summer. It's so relaxing and it's my favorite part of the break. I have so many beautiful memories at this lake so I wanted to share the beauty and peacefulness of it. This photo demonstrates the principle of design of movement in the waves from the water. It's almost like you can hear the waves crashing and the birds chirping.
