She wants to help the patriots because through many acts she has interpreted the king as similar to Sewel, who is her previous “father” or is most likely going to kill her if he sees her once again. There’s many times in my life that I was indecisive, and sometimes didn’t think things through before making choices. Although Francisca didn’t know the ship she was on had set its course to the colonies, into war. But she prepared herself, and formulated a plan. I think I could do that, considering what actions I need to lay out, for appropriate situations.
