behavioral therapy- it can be very effective for some children and for others it's not as effective just depends on the child. Something negative about this is that it doesn't take the child's emotions into account.

methylphenidate- It can reduce hyperactivity and impulsivity and might help children to concentrate. A negative is that it can increased risk of non-serious unwanted effects like sleeping problems and decreased appetite.

lisdexamfetamine- significantly more effective than placebo in the treatment of adults with ADHD, with improvements noted within 1 week. Some negative effects are nausea, dry mouth, dizziness, headache and, anxiety.

dexamfetamine- Clinical response, defined as a reduction in the ADHD-RS-IV total score of at least 30% at the first follow-up visit, was observed in 78.1% of patients. Some negative effects are trouble sleeping, diarrhea, blurred vision, nausea, dizziness.

atomoxetine- all patients showed mild improvements and proven to decrease symptoms of ADHD. Some negative effects are hypertension, dizziness, itching, nausea, faster pulse rate.
