Charter Schools USA is continuously striving to ensure a safe environment for our students and staff. As a result, each school year all parents and guardians looking to volunteer at the school must complete an Online Safe Schools Training. 
CSUSA has selected “Safe Schools Online Safety Training” to train both our staff and volunteers. The attached document provides you with the information on how to register and complete the training. The training will take approximately 90 minutes. You will receive 2 volunteer hours per family for completing the training, however, each person wanting to enter the building to volunteer must individually complete this training. 
Once all of your training is complete, there will be three certificates that you must email to Mrs. Martinez at dmartinez@recscoopercity.org before we are permitted to allow you to volunteer. These online training apply to everyone who volunteers:  i.e parents, guardians, grandparents, and family members. Each person must complete the three courses and email their three certificates to Mrs. Martinez.

These guidelines are to ensure that we are protecting instructional time while still acknowledging our students and their special events.  Please ensure that you communicate your child's birthday with your teacher prior to the Friday that you would like to bring in items to celebrate.  This is so that they can plan and provide you with the appropriate time frame (some teachers prefer during Learning Through Movement, some teachers prefer during lunch) and notify the front office of your delivery.
Beginning November 7th, the front office will not be permitted to accept birthday celebration items unless it is a Friday.
