The sun and the moon cross between each other on the spot on the surface of the Earth where Texas is. It creates a shadow effect and makes it dark because there is no light. Where, there is some light, but it is darker than it was..

(I was pretty impressed with her response! Proud former science teacher mom there!)

The tap water in my home comes from the Green Valley Special Utility District water supply. I am not completely sure where they obtain the water from though. I would imagine some is pumped directly from the Edwards Aquifer, but I also know that they have a waste water treatment plant. My wastewater goes into a septic tank though, not into a wastewater line, so I am not sure if we get recycled, treated waste water?
