As far I can remember, she was assisting other lecturer's class. And soon after receiving the doctoral degree, she taught persuasive theory along side Prof. Mohd. I've known Dr Izzal for about 4 years now, since I started taking my Master's in Communication (IMC) at USM. She was introduced by the deputy dean to be my supervisor as we had to take a mini research paper at the end of the semester. Main reason was that Dr Izzal specialises in the topic that I'm interested in. From that day onwards, I begin to see my life growing, not just academically but character-wise as well. She has been a mentor of mine since then. If you've heard that she's someone who's tough, particular, perfectionist, they are all true. It's all for the good actually, I begin to realise. Her level of knowledge, depth of wisdom, and vast experience never cease to amaze me until today. 

It's safe to say that because of her, she has motivated and inspired me to take PhD, while disclosing that it's not an easy journey. Yes, one may be fearful towards her demands in the level of perfectionism that her students produce, it's all for the good. In the long run, it does appear to be beneficial and fruitful. 

While she is perceived to be tough, but she has her soft side as well. She's kind, loving and motivating towards her students too.

It'd be an honour and blessing to really achieve half of what she has achieved so far.

She's a good lecturer. Eventhough she’s already packed with her schedule but she still got time for all of her students. She’s such an amazing lecturer in handling all her students. 

As a lecturer, she has her own style of teaching. I really enjoyed studying YBP 201 Communication for Sustainable Development when we were given a task during the class and we need to submit the task before the class ends. I really enjoyed the class since it was different from any other classes i’ve been into.

She was my SV for my Research Proposal and she taught me a few subjects for my Masters in IMC. She made it easy for me to finish my masters, she was there to guide amidst her busy schedule and she was there to scold me for my ‘ blurness ‘ during the completion of my RP. She is meticulous and very fond of being systematic in doing her work. She made our classes as interesting as she could and changed the contents of her teaching materials to follow the current trend and I am grateful for that coz it made my eyes open in each class! Haha! 
She has a pretty little daughter with the name of a flower whom I pray will get all good things easily in her life as her mother made it easy for her students!

She was among my first new friends in AIGS back in 1990. We were placed in the same class at that time. After 20 years we met again....but dalam dunia kerjaya yang berbeza. Dia sebagai Pensyarah dan saya bertugas di bahagian pentadbiran.
Sebagai sahabat Dr. Izzal masih semesra 'Izzal Asnira' yg saya kenali bertahun dahulu. NAMUN, semangat dan kesungguhan beliau sebagai akademia amat mengkagumkan. Malah sangat menginspirasikan kpd para pelajar beliau, rakan setugas malah seluruh warga kampus. Kemampuan beliau sebagai pendidik dan penyelidik sangat menonjol. I came from private university where the culture was totally different. As a student, I admire her dedication and passion towards the students in every aspect that she taught us. It is something that you feel, 'I need to be in this class !'

Anybody in the class can feel how she so passionate in the subject and be part of the activities. 

On the next semester, I did something different by taking International Advertising subject which usually student take on the final semester. I made a decision after seek her for an advice to register for subjects. I knew it was a right decision to continue her classes, before she left for London.
