Sin embargo algo que nadie sospechaba era que éste había sido planeado por Adam Bellefort, hernano de Jaqueline.  Simón culpa a Adam de haberlo convencido ya que éste había pasado sus últimos años pensando como recuperar la fortuna que deberían haber heredado él y su hermana si su padre no hubiese sido estafado por Malhuish Ridgeway, el padre de Linnet. Con esta revelación todos ahí quedaron impactados nunca nadie había escuchado de Adam ya que este se había infiltrado como el Chef Paterson. Una vez descubierto Adam confeso que al ver que Simón y Jaqueline estaban locamente enamorados y que serían capaz de cualquier cosa el uno por el otro les conto su plan para recuperar la herencia que por derecho les correspondía, para lo cual Simón debía casarse con Linnet y ser asesinada en su luna de miel, mientras él debía ocultar el arma ya que nadie sospecharía de un simple chef.
Confronted, Simon and Jacqueline confess to the plot. However, something that no one suspected was that it had been planned by Adam Bellefort, Jaqueline's brother. Simon blames Adam for having convinced him as he had spent his last years thinking about how to recover the fortune that he and his sister should have inherited if their father had not been scammed by Malhuish Ridgeway, Linnet's father. With this revelation everyone there was shocked, no one had ever heard of Adam since he had infiltrated as Chef Paterson. Once discovered Adam confessed that when he saw that Simón and Jaqueline were madly in love and that they would be capable of anything for each other, he told them his plan to recover the inheritance that by right corresponded to them, for which Simón had to marry Linnet and to be killed on her honeymoon, while he had to hide the weapon since no one would suspect a simple chef.

Creo que expresa suspenso en un inicio, que algo esta ocurriendo y que no se sabe qué, luego creo da la sensación de desenlace que algo llego a su fin , quizás de forma inesperada para todos pero que termina.

Adam  quien estaba comenzando sus pasos como chef de cruceros era un hábil y seductor cocinero,  había logrado ingresar de último minuto como parte de la tripulación del crucero gracias a sus encantos. Era un hombre alto, esbelto y con unos impresionantes ojos  azules, aparentemente gentil y de sonrisa encantadora, siempre lograba lo que se proponía ya que había aprendido a ser fuerte y perseverante luego de una niñez difícil y de ver como su padre murió en la ruina luego de ser estafado por Malhuish Ridgeway. Esto lo motivo para planear su venganza junto a su hermana Jaqueline y poder recuperar su fortuna.

Chef Peterson: It's actually Adam Bellefort, Jaqueline Bellefort's brother. Adam who was beginning his steps as a cruise chef was a skilled and seductive cook, he had managed to enter as part of the cruise crew at the last minute thanks to his charms. He was a tall, slender man with impressive blue eyes, apparently gentle and with a charming smile, he always achieved what he set out to do since he had learned to be strong and persevering after a difficult childhood and seeing how his father died in ruin after being scammed by Malhuish Ridgeway. This motivated him to plan his revenge with his sister Jaqueline and to be able to recover his fortune.
