F9 presents thrilling matches that offer ranging from chases in the forest with a Tarzan-style car in action to a car tug-of-war with magnets. Of course these actions destroy public facilities.
in my opinion, Fast and Furious is not here to present a quality and logical story. This is not a high culture product, but a pop culture. Fast and Furious is here to provide you with insane, high-octane vehicular battles.
F9 still manages to entertain. the action is fun, the characters are interesting, but on the one hand. If you've watched the previous Fast and Furious films, F9 still maintains the formula for crazy action, the return of old characters, large-scale missions, and destruction everywhere.

Andin Alyssa, 11 mipa 2

Today, i'm going to review "Inside Out" one of my favorite movie off all time. So quick back story i went to the cinema with my sister and my dad. So i was in the sad mood and i was like "oh pixar movie, that's gonna cheer me up a lilbit" but apparently is not at all LOL. So the movie was very deep and is emotionally powerful and made me shed tears at one point. Anyway, i loooove this movie. Regardless of your age, you will learn something from it and it's funny as well. The characters is all great, Bing Bong is my personal favorite. This is beautifully animated and about the importance of expressing yourself 9.8/10 for me! :D

Arrayyan Y.A. 11 IPS 5

Basically back then, i was bored and had a very rough day, so i decided to watch some movies to keep me entertained. And there's this one movie that was enough to make my heart beat again (I'M JUST BEING DRAMATIC LOL😆). This movie called "it's kind of a funny story" well.. it is. Quick sinopsis, there's one guy called craig, he's a high-school junior. One time he realizes that he's suicidal, so he checks himself into the psychiatric ward of hospital, thinking they'll do an observation, help him, and send him home in time for school the next day. Once in however he must stay for a week in there, lot of things happened to him and people he just met there. Overall it was a very heartwarming movie, although it has such a unrealistic storyline. Still fun and interesting movie to watch thoo!! 8/10 🤩 OHHH and last but not least here is a quote that is quite beautiful from this film

Craig, there is a saying that goes something like "Lord grant me the strength to change the things i can. The courage to accept the things i can't. And the wisdom to know the difference."

Margaretha Helena M. XI MIPA 7

Well… talking about Holmes, this surname might sound familiar to you. So Enola is the little sister of the famous detective, Sherlock Holmes. This film tells about Enola’s journey to find her mother who suddenly disappeared on her 16th birthday.
For me personally, it’s a good film. No, it’s extremely good!! I had a lot of fun solving the puzzles as the film goes by. However, the best part of this film is the moral messages that i get after watching it. Enola Holmes teaches us that there are two paths in life that we can choose. Whether we choose to follow our own road or the path that others have chosen for us, the choice is ours. Oh and it also talks about women’s emancipation!

After all, it’s such a pretty interesting film. And highly recommended for people who like a simple detective movies. I give it 9/10!!✨

Dela Amelia D. XI MIPA 6

Modern Warfare 3 comes to us by way of an older engine, but still looks great. Sure, it's not among the very best out there nowadays, but it performs well. At any given time the screen appears ready to burst with effects and visual madness. Entire battles are waged before you; buildings burn and crumble while a steady flow of explosions batter your senses. This is Call of Duty, and Modern Warfare 3 collects these moments of boom in abundance, presenting them in all their 60 frames-per-second glory.
The controls feel as good as ever, and that same sense of exhilaration and speed that comes from a great round of multiplayer still exists. Like past Call of Duty games, occasional moments where one team totally dominates the other due to Assault Strike Package rewards still happen, but overall this remains a slight annoyance when weighed against the rest of the multiplayer package.

Jabbar Dherma, 10 MIPA 6

As a huge Marvel fan, Avengers: Endgame, which marks the end of the Infinity Saga, is a spellbinding and enthralling experience. This film is truly remarkable, from its intriguing and complex underlying plot to its memorable and emotionally driven characters; avengers endgame is truly the best superhero film. It's incredible to see all of our favorite superheroes in one film. Marvel has been working on this grand finale since the release of Iron Man. I'm confident that their hard work has paid off. The film strikes an excellent balance of emotion and action. It's just right. The action sequences were breathtaking. The visuals are stunning and have a significant impact on the film. The humor isn't overdone, and it manages to keep you entertained throughout the film. The plot twists were thrilling and suspenseful. The film contains numerous cameos of characters from previous MCU films, which adds to the excitement. The climactic battle astounded me. It's just full of memorable moments that can't be put into words. My favorite scene is when the all-off superhero who has been disappeared in Avengers: Infinity War just came out from portals. I've listened to the back sound several times and it still gives me goosebumps. Robert Downey Jr, who plays Tony Stark/Iron Man, steals the show. The man who started it all proves once more that no one else can perfect his role. The final scene, however, is devastating. It caused the person who sits next to me to cry. (as well as myself:D) I give it 9/10.

Ahmad Irfan D.C XI MIPA 6

I could say this movie is a masterpiece. A briliant movie about a 'harsh but true' relating to the fashion industry. Every role in this movie, i could say is well potrayed. Emily Blunt who potrayed a hard-working, underappriciate, desperate personal assistant. Anne Hathaway, our main character. A girl who transitioning from a regular, unwell dress, sloppy and a total mess to being swayed by a swirl of complex characters and persona that work with her and she has to put up with them and make some effort in order to stay in the job. And Meryl Streep, as an upper-classed, narcissist, perfectionist, fashionista boss.

Gives you many prespective about life, what you fight for (love, career, opportunity costs, hard and ruthless decisions you make to climb up an stay there might aswell hanging), how this mad race can drive you to be the best or can even make you forget your core/root. And all of this presented and wraped in a highly entertaining way. Subtly presents the idea that life is ultimately the set of choices you make for yourself, what matters to you and what you value.

It ages very well and cinematicly beautifull.

"A Silent Voice" is an anime film adaptation of a manga by Yoshitoki Oima with the same name. Simply put, this movie tells about a young boy, who in attempt to fit it with his friends, bullies and teases their new classmate, a deaf girl. He takes it too far and his friends all turn against him. He grows up feeling regretful and seeks redemption/forgiveness.

Looking at strictly the movie cinematics and screenplay, I think this movie is very well animated. It shows light-hearted animations, scenes, and humor while still keeping and portraying the heavy subject and meaning behind it. The voice dubbings are also very well done. The voice actors, in my opinion, were able to sound out every characters' personalities and emotions very well without under or overdoing it. Saori Hayami, who voices Shoko Nishimiya the deaf girl, I think gave a very convincing performance despite having, what I assume to be, the hardest character to voice.
This movie, from a mental standpoint, depicts modern and realistic teenage problems, mind, and emotions very well. Each scene is very cleverly directed to subtly show each characters' thoughts and feelings. I think it touches and explores heavy, serious subjects such as depression, anxiety, and regret in the most perfect way. Until this day it is still my favorite anime film and one of my favorite movies in general.
I rate it 9.75/10.

Felicitha J. Adi (XI MIPA 2)

So I was going to talk about a movie named orphan, this movie about a couple who just lost their third child named Kate and John Coleman, eventually this family adopted a child from an orphanage. They met a child named Esther who was nine years old. Kate and John already have two children, 12-year-old Daniel and five-year-old Max, who is deaf. As time passed, Esther developed a peculiar attitude, knowing all the adults she should not have known. She did bad things at school like harming his friends and killing pigeons. The next day the sister from the orphanage came to commemorate Esther's behavior, but Esther killed the nun with a hammer. Daniel caught the scene by Esther and finally Esther threatened Daniel to kill her if he spoke of Esther killing the nun. Kate found out that Esther came from a mental hospital in Estonia. When John came home drunk, Esther tried to seduce him, but he threatened to send her back to the orphanage. Kate was contacted by Varava's doctor that Esther had a hormonal disorder that kept her body as a child, and she was actually a 33-year-old woman by the name Leena Klammer. Kate was hurrying home but she found out John had been killed because Esther had killed him, and Kate and Max ran out when they found out that Esther was holding the gun. Kate and Esther were over by the ice tub when Max tried to shoot Esther. Kate and Esther fell into the water, and she tried to climb up and Esther asked for help to be rescued, but she knew that Esther had a knife in her back. Esther ended up dead in a pool of ice. I'm sorry I forgot to inform you that Daniel was killed by Esther in the tree house. By the way this film is from a true story.

Sasha Anggia Putri XI MIPA 2

"Dragon Ball Super: Broly" Review

Hi, everyone! I will talk about the 2019 movie, "Dragon Ball Super: Broly". This is an anime movie written by Akira Toriyama. This movie mainly tells us about a Saiyan named Broly, a man who was exiled from his own race. The story sets on the era before the Saiyan race was destroyed and as the movie goes on, it sets to the post Tournament of Power era. If you want to know more about the Tournament of Power, you can watch the Dragon Ball Super main series.

I'm in love with this movie. The storywritting and the animation is mind blowing. This movie is actually a remake from a non-canon 90's movie "Dragon Ball Z: Broly, The Legendary Super Saiyan" which is a good movie. What I love about this piece of art is how Toriyama treats Broly. Because back then, Broly was just an emotionless robot that laughs evilly and yells "KAKAROOOOOOTTT!!!". It was so bad that Toriyama has to made him die. In this movie, Broly was given a complete redesign and character development. Toriyama gave him more emotions and more tragic backstory. Now the audience likes the new Broly more than the old one. One aspect that I found interesting in this movie is Broly's characterization, where he was portrayed not evil despite being the main antagonist of the movie. He was just forced by his father to fight so he can get his revenge on King Vegeta. Even though Broly is a softer character now, Toriyama didn't forget about Broly's main charm, and that is being a berserk like the Hulk. Overall, I love it and this gets a solid 9.9/10 from me. Highly recommended!

Dhafin Ikram Kusuma XI IPS 4

To be honest, I am not that into a Korean movie fan, especially musical movie. At first, I wanted to watch this movie because of Chanyeol. Thought it would be boring for me when I saw the trailer until I actually watched it in cinema, and I was like "w-what??" okay I totally shocked.

So just let me introduce the movie, named The Box. The film tells the story of Ji-Hoon (played by Chanyeol) who is a handsome and talented man with powerful vocal and guitar playing skills. The reason he hasn't been success as a music artist is because he has serious case of glossophobia, aka stage fright. He only sings when he's alone and there's no one around. Until one night, there's a hopeless genius producer (played by Cho Dal-hwan) secretly hearing him sing with his guitar. Since that night, his live changed, he began to appear in public by hiding himself in a refrigerator box. Slowly and surely he became a famous singer, he began to face his fears, even there's a difficult times in between, but life wasn't just about hard time, was it?
The film not only tells about Ji-Hoon and his phobia actually, if we look thoroughly, it also shows us the Korean culture. Trust me, this movie is very cooolllll. There was a time when I laughed, then suddenly cried, and smiled while watching it, like- "seriously?? how can a musical film make me so emotional??"
Here 9,5/10 from me^^
Make sure you watch this!
Break your box break the pressure, 태워버려 다!~

Rayna Maryam Aulia, XI MIPA 2

"Atonement" Movie Review

Who doesn’t love green silk dress, a mound of love letters, 1930s, and ocean eyes? I bet everyone would die for this impeccable love story. But, what if this story needs to be destroyed because of one of your closest person? Who knows a little white lie can lead us to a very different scenario? “The right person, wrong fate”, the first thing popped up in my head. One of the most wonderful movies I’ve ever witnessed.
So, the story begins with two college friends who came from a very distinct family background. The girl, named Cecilia with her glamorous life and the guy, named Robbie, who worked for Cecilia’s family. But one day, her younger sibling, Briony, unconsciously watched some ambiguous scenes of them from her point of view. What brings her into mistranslation concludes. When an accident occurs, with all of her overthinking and doubtful mind, she stands as a witness to falsely accusing Robbie of the thing he didn’t do. And that doesn’t turn out great.
The very first thing I noticed at the beginning of the movie was definitely the cinematography. We’ll be served with mesmerizing scenery that is coated in green tone. It builds the atmosphere into sorrow, yet sweet and delight at the same time. They are consistent with the main aesthetic, which reflects the set perfectly. You can’t take your eyes anywhere but the screen.
This movie gives us a different point of view from each main character. It leads us to understand the reason for each decision. Why this, why that. Force us to make speculation and a lot of ‘maybe’ at first. Transition of every flashback flawlessly flows fill in the movie. I absolutely concur it’s a wonderful written script and transfer perfectly through the actors/actresses acting. How they construct every characteristic into a unique and memorable character. The thing that makes it more fascinating is that we can see the story of the main couple from another perspective too (in this case, Briony). Therefore, we are all able to experience the frustrated, depressed, haunted by guilt feeling, and watch them break into pieces. Not just from inside sight, but from the person who unconsciously tears them apart too.
The final twist probably can explain everything, why it’s called ‘atonement’, why the last thing you wish is just the possibility to give forgiveness, why you shouldn’t make any wish at the first place. The actors and actresses are just extremely outstanding, their acting contribution makes this into a successful heart-breaking movie. We can feel pure emotion swamp over the entire movie. These casts deliver the plot beautifully as well as it meant to be a touching tale. You don’t need to ask, it’s a solid five stars from me.
If you're interesting to watch this movie, I highly recommend you to prepare tissues and your heart before drown into the movie. Happy watching! <3

Ajeng Latifah Zahrah, X MIPA 8

"PARASITE" REVIEW

This movie is a masterpiece!!!. I actually watch this movie by accident and I didn't know there was this movie before. Yeps I'm so regret why I'm so late to know existence this movie T_T. This movie is called Parasite. Parasite is a South Korean dark comedy thriller movie directed by Bong Joon-ho. This are the best K-movies I've ever seen. That's why this movies deserved every Oscar. I think all kdramas and kpop fans know this movie 'cause It's so populer in Korea. I have a goosebumps when I know this movie not just populer in korea but in America and others country like it's so populer than I thought:). The point of this movie is about Capitalism has done more harm for poor people and great things for a rich people. I love how detailed it was. The plot, the cast, the setting, and every single details in this movie is just excellent. Everyone in the movie acts like a parasite. The poor family who scheme to get their jobs as well as the rich people who just also use them for their own greed. Parasite took me on a train ride of different emotions playing a parallel of what life looks like for two different social classes. In today's society the gap between rich and poor is widening and films like this. As for the story, it started out with a sense of humor, chill, and calm in a way. Then the events took an unexpected turn and everything became so different, alot of emotions were stirred. Feelings of thriller, horror, anticipation, mystery, sympathy, and more. I'm so highly recommend this movie to you even you're not a fans of k-movies or you a person that hate everything about korea. Because Parasite it's different and you must watch this film before you die:)
Lily Anggraeni
X MIPA 4

Red Notice Review

“Red Notice” is an action movie released in early November 2021, starring Gal Gadot, Dwayne Johnson (often known as The Rock), and Ryan Reynolds, the three names that are only unknown for those who live under the rock.

The plot starts with the rich man of Egypt putting out a challenge to collect all three eggs of Cleopatra, offering a very big amount of money no one could deny. In the attempt of collecting, or stealing, all three eggs of Cleopatra that was gifted by her husband on their wedding day, Bishop — the #1 greatest art thief in the world, faced a few struggles. Booth, the second greatest art thief in the world, took the first egg out of the museum, but Bishop wasn’t the #1 for no reason, she then took the first egg from Booth. An FBI agent, John Hartley, then arrested Booth. But Hartley was put in a trap, that led him being arrested with Booth. It was a long and complicated story until the very end of the movie, but there was enough fun and comedy to not stress you out.

I talk a lot while watching movies, giving my reactions in forms of word and just throwing random interjections here and there, and while watching this movie, I didn’t stop talking and was running out of breath when the credit title showed up. I love the character Booth, he is a (professional) thief but doesn’t look like one, at least judging from the way he talks. He is very goofy and silly, physically looking like he is in his mid 40s but mentally? I would say 12. I have no basics of cinematography, all I could say is that the colors of the movie pleases my eyes. The best thing about this movie is the plot twist, I gave out the most dramatic gasp one could ever heard when I figured out what actually is happening. I can easily give this movie a 9/10 for the plot twist. It is by far one of my favorite movies, my favorite one for an action movie.

Crisceline Abella Ranggen XI MIPA 2
