They finally feel like they might get out alive even if it's the slimmest chance. She really is just a kid at the end of the day who didn't know any better that those who would come aren't friends, but those who have come to separate them. It mainly makes me cry because maybe other kids in hiding probably thought the same as Anne which to me is a really devastating thing. </p>]]></description>
