1. This video first goes into the basics of Universal Design for Learning, then demonstrates how this works by including interviews with K-12 school teachers/principals and recordings of class time.
2. I found this to be a valuable resource because it shows how real-life educators implement the principles of UDL in their classes. Although I teach in higher ed rather than K-12, many of their suggestions are still relevant to me (for example, engaging activities rather than lecturing).

I especially like the suggestions about mid-course evaluations, which is something I have been striving to implement in my classes.

In this academic article, Dalton et. al. discuss the background of UD and UDL and then go into detail about several ways this has been implemented in schools in the US and South Africa.
2. The examples are, for me, the most useful component of this resource. I learn best when I see how others put theory into practice.

1. This resource is an academic article exploring students' perspectives on UD in virtual environments and argues that although the landscape of higher ed has shifted greatly, teaching design hasn't caught up on all aspects.
2. This is a relevant resource because it's important to consider students' perspectives, not just instructors', as students are the ones we're trying to teach! Although the sample size was very small for this article, I could see this being the basis for future studies.
