By values i mean all that there is relating to these eight aspects of human growth and development; Social and emotional, Moral, Spiritual, Physical, Cognitive, Psychological, Good citizenship and Good living. For example: When we refer to the social and emotional aspects of human growth and development, we largely focus on the values of self-worth, self-confidence and compassion/empathy; Similarly when we refer to the cognitive aspect, we largely focus on the values of critical and holistic thinking, futures orientation, scientific humanism and spirit of inquiry, creativity and artistic expression, work ethic, productivity and co-operation.
