This is because, in the classroom, constructivism puts learners in the center of the learning process, and suggests that learners contribute to knowledge construction by activating their prior knowledge and personal experiences when the leaning process takes place. I personally think that it is good learning strategy because this learning theory does not dismiss the active role of the teacher but it modifies that role so that teachers help students to construct knowledge rather than to reproduce a series of facts. Teachers provides tools such as problem-solving and inquiry-based learning activities with which students formulate and test their ideas, draw conclusions and inferences. Constructivism able to transform students from a passive recipient of information to an active participant in the learning process.
