         <title>Week 5- 5th Week Of Lecture Class by Sir Furkan.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>On 5th week, on Monday class we have met sir Furkan again, to continue our lesson by learning chapter 3. We really impressed by our lecturer professionalism because in the morning before our class start, Sir Furkan and Sir Hisyam went to Malaysia Hari Ini (MHI) at TV3 to do interview and promoted our upcoming program (SCITECH2018)but after done it, they back to UiTM Puncak Alam to proceed our lecture class. In chapter 3 we have learnt about Interaction Model. Interaction Model is modification from Tyler's Model that have been learn last week. Difference from Tyler's Model, Interaction Model it may begin with any four curriculum element. Next, in this chapter also we learnt another model which is Taba's Model. Taba's Model is actually the most suitable model for language program and it's also known as "Grass-roots approach". There are 7 steps of Taba's Model that we have learn in the class. After Taba Model we continue our lesson to learn about Contemporary Model that have 5 components that we have to know. <br>On Wednesday, Sir Furkan taught us more how to do another parts in the lesson plan. Thus, he gives us a lot of tips and advice how to perform very well in microteaching that will be start soon. He always remind us thing we need to and things that we can't do during microteaching.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Week 4 - Lecture Class of Curriculum and Instruction by Sir Furkan</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>On 4th week,on Monday class we had lecture with Sir Furkan that taught us 2 chapter of the syllabus. On the first chapter we have learnt about the definition of Curriculum and Instruction from different perspective,Education System in Malaysian School and important aspect in curriculum. In chapter 2 sir Furkan taught us about Tyyler's Model. From that, we gained a lot of information from that class.<br>On Wednesday, for our tutorial class, we only focusing to check and consult for our lesson plan that have been given as homework from Sir Furkan last week. As my own lesson plan,thankfully sir Furkan quite satisfied with my work but still there are a lot of things need to be repair and improve. During our consultation time, we have vote for our turn in microteaching soon. After voted, my turn is 35/39 classmates, means i have to wait another few weeks more until my turn.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Week 3 - Real Class Begin After 2 Weeks Break</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After 2 weeks class break due to public holiday, on 19th of September we meet again Sir Furkan for our class tutorial EDU555. For that Wednesday, Sir Furkan emphasizes to teach us how to create lesson plan for our microteaching soon. In the way to make microteaching soon each of us need to prepare a lesson plan as our guideline to teach in the class. Lesson plan is very important when we will be a real teacher in the future.<br>At the beginning, Sir Furkan has introduced us with the template of lesson plan. There are a lot of component to fill up, from date,time class until the last component is reflection part. Sir Furkan already taught us how to do lesson plan very detail. He also taught us how to do "Success Criteria" that nowdays in school they have this thing to display on the whiteboard in front class. He really taught us very well and we can easily understand about these thing. At the end of the class, he gave us a homework to do our own lesson plan based on the topic we want to teach in the microteaching.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Week 1 - First Tutorial Class with Sir Furkan</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>On Wednesday, it is our first tutorial class with Sir Furkan. During our class, Sir Furkan has taught us a lot of new information that we need to know to accomplish our assigments. At first he showed us Curriculum Specification of Biology Form 4. He taught us how to refer the curriculum specification to create lesson plan for our assignment. He also taught us how to refer the learning objectives and learning outcomes of specific topic in that subject. It as guidelines for us to plan the lesson every each period of class that we need to finish the topics.<br>Sir Furkan also explained to us about what is Cognitive Domain of Bloom Taxonomy. Other than that he also explain us about RPT (Rancangan Pengajaran Tahunan) and RPT (Rancangan Pengajaran Harian). This is kind of lesson plan of standard school in Malaysia that would very usefull for a teacher in the future like us. Moreover, he explained us about DSKP (Dokumen Standard Kurikulum &amp; Pentaksiran) for KSSM (Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Menengah) that would very useful for us in the future because during our time when we become a teacher we will use this kind of system in our country education. That's a few characteristics that have been taught by Sir Furkan when want to create a lesson plan :<br>1. Time - It is very important, we must know our ability to finish those sub topics during the given period. Must always refer is it that topic heavy or not for us to teach and for students to gain.<br>2. As a teacher, we must always put us as a view point of students too. We need to acknowledge is it our students be able to follow our lesson plan or not.<br>3. Always put our students as moderate. Not too expert not to slow leaner, every each in the class must have different kind of these level. So as a teacher we must try to teach them with modest ability. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div> <em>Last week on 3rd of September, it was my first day class of semester 4. As it been in my timetable subject EDU555 as my first class in this semester. At first i didn't have any expectation about what we gonna learn who will teach us, just went to the class leisurely. Surprisingly, i saw Sir Furkan and definitely he will teach us throughout this semester. As usually, he will introduce us about this course which is Curriculum and Instruction (EDU555). Based on my understanding this course is about we will learn how to create lesson plan and assessment that will be use in future when we will become a teacher. At first day of class Sir Furkan already assigned us some of assignments and assessment that will need to perform through out this semester. <br>First : Article Review (We need to find any article related to this course and make some reviews about it)<br>Second : Micro Teaching (We will make a individually a mock teaching about topic that related to our major (for me Biology) for 20 minutes in class)<br>Third : Course Design Project (It is group works and we need to create a course design for specific target group)<br>Last : E-portfolio (As what i writing now, we need to do weekly writing about what we have learnt in that particular week)</em></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Due to have a program SCITECH 2018 on 8th of October 2018 Monday class lecture had to postponed. <br>Class continued to tutorial class on Wednesday. Supposedly in this week we should start our first batch microteaching but due to consideration from Sir Furkan because we had program SCITECH 2018 for 2 days, he postponed that to next week. So for that Wednesday class we just have chill class and have discussion about preparation of microteaching. Sir Furkan opened to all of us to ask anything regarding to the microteaching. He gave us a lot motivational talk to helps us do very well on our microteaching soon. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As week 7 begin, we continued our class lesson with Sir Hisyam this time. New lecturer, new vibes! After finished chapter 3, we continue to learn chapter 4 about Evaluation. In this chapter we have learn about the types of evaluation, evaluation in curriculum development and last for the class we learnt CIPP Model for evaluation. These 4 chapters in the beginning is very important because it will come out in Test 1 EDU555 next week.<br>On Wednesday class, where everything we was waiting for begin. The most heavy assessment in this course which is individually "Microteaching". This week are the first batch of Microteaching which is the first 6 persons need to do. Microteaching begin with Akmal as first presenter. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Week 8 - The first test was held in this week!</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In week 8, after we had covered syllabus from Chapter 1 until Chapter 4, the lectures decided we were having a test 1 EDU555 on Monday in this week. The test was covered until chapter 4. This is one of our assessment for us too past in this course. The question were half hard and half medium hard. The most complicated in the MCQ questions part, because of the questions were too long and the answer choices also confusing for us too choose. It really challenging me that moment. <br>After done with Test 1 on Monday, the next class on Wednesday we continued to the second batch of microteaching which is the presenters of that day were Amirah Izzati, Ameera, Qistina, Zaf, Yana and Nadiah. This time the enviroment were changing because the presenter should do their microteaching in Lab 1 that could be probably challenging for them. Luckily, all presenters on that day were do it very well. Goodjob to all my classmates!</div>]]></description>

         <title>Week 9 - The lecture continue for the new chapter by Sir Hisyam</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In order to finish our syllabus for this course earlier, Sir Hisyam continue our lecture and teach us chapter 5. In chapter 5, he was teaching us about National Philosophy of Education, Goals of Education and Principles of the Integrated Curriculum for Primary and Secondary School. After done with the lecture chapter 5, he continued to teach us chapter 6 which is about Curriculum Development Division (CDD). In this chapter we have learn about Roles and Function of CDD, National Education Philosophy, Curriculum Cycle, Curriculum Structure and Emphases and Curriculum Review - Moving Forward. From that lesson we gained the knowledge and a lot of information regarding the curriculum and the curriculum implication in our educational system in Malaysia.<br>On Wednesday, the third batch of microteaching continued with the presenters by Asyraf, Fatin Amira, Solehah, Aiman, Atun and Zana. From this batch compared to the previous presenters we can see most of them are doing better in terms of presentations, preparation of teaching aids and more. They have learnt a lot from previous presenters to do very well in this week. Overall, personally I can see they are did good job.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Week 10 - After a week of mid-term semester break.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After a week of mid semester break, on Monday we were back for the first class of EDU555 on that day. The lecturer still proceed with Sir Hisyam to finish last two chapter. In this week we learnt about Instructional Objectives and Instructional Materials. At the beginning of the class Sir Hisyam just want to cover until Instructional Objectives topics. Unfortunately, the topics done earlier so he decided to finish all the chapters on that day. In Instructional Objectives, we have been learn about how to construct the achievable objectives in teaching based on Robert Mager (1962). However in our education system we used Benjamin Bloom (1956) guideline to construct instructional objectives, so we learnt Bloom's Instructional Objectives. After that, we have learn Instructional Materials that about principles, design, utilization and evaluation. To design an instructional materials we used ASSURE Model as the guidelines:<br>A- Analyze Learner<br>S- State Objectives<br>S- Select Methods, Media, and Materials<br>U- Utilize Media and Materials<br>R- Require Learner Participation<br>E- Evaluate and Revise.<br>After done learn all of that, we were done all of our syllabus. So on the next class, the lecturers decided to proceed with microteaching.<br>On the Wednesday, the forth batch of microteaching continued with the presenters by Jessica, Ainie, Aina Qazrin, Zaty, Ammar and Hamzi. At the beginning of the the microteaching started with Jessica, I can see that she was doing very good and her speaks was very well and the presentation went smooth. In this batch, we were shocked by the new creativity of teaching aids by Zaty, she was used the teaching aids on the next level by used styrofoam to represent the antigents by her topic and we were really impressed by it. Overall, for the others they were doing very well and done a very good job compared to the last batch. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Week 11 - All about mictroteachings.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After we done all the syllabus the class proceed to microteaching session. On Monday, the fifth batch of microteaching presented by Kakti, Wan Syakirah, Iqa and Leona. As we were watching the microteaching we were surprised how very good Kakti in doing her teaching. I could say she is the best among the rest because she really done a good job in term of her teaching, teaching aids and the highlight part is she really have sense of humor to make an attraction from the audience. She very good in making a jokes plus she attract audience to deliver her lesson very well. The other presenters also, they were doing very well and smoothly compared the previous batch. <br>On Wednesday, the sixth batch of microteching continued with Raihan, Ain, Fadhilla, Amira Fakhira, Azlin and Noni. For this batch, I could say all of the presenters are average and have same the good performance. All of them were doing very well and smoothly, we can see they were put a lot of efforts to do their best in microteaching. Overall, they were doing great for this week!<br><br>P/s: The pressure getting high, the nervous start to strike me because the next batch will be my turn of microteaching. I put a lot of effort to do very good hopefully on the next week I can do very great. Goodluck dearself!</div>]]></description>

         <title>Week 12 - The day finally arrived.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After waiting for a long time, after watch all the others performance, after all the preparation has done finally the day has arrived. On Monday (26th November 2018), it is final batch of microteaching and it is finally my turn. On that day, I was the first presenter and continue with Saiful, Christ, Nasuha and lastly Nasrin. I have done my microteaching for assessment in EDU555 course. Based on what I have done, I could say only 50% satisfy and another 50% quite disappointed for my microteaching on that day. At the beginning I will share the positive side of my microteaching which is only 50 % satisfy for me. From what I have presented on that day I could say I am proud of myself because I am be able to do it at least. My biggest concern for this microteaching in the beginning actually is am I be able to speak English fluently. For me, the language barrier is my biggest challenge because I have to teach people in English language and that’s my weakness. My English is not that good enough compared to my others classmate. That’s why I tried very hard to improve my speaking skill and I practiced a lot for that. Alhamdulillah, I could say I have done very well on that day based on reviews from my friends they said at least they can understand and able to catch up what I’m trying to teach on that day. An additional, I so proud of myself because most of classmate were very enjoy watch my microteaching and they were like my enjoyable vibe during my teaching on that day. Plus they said, my activity was quite interesting for them but unfortunately the time were very limited to play it more.<br><br></div><div>Next, the reason I said 50% I am disappointed with my microteaching because my very poor time management. During on that day, I am not be able to finish it on time, plus I am not be able to show my success criteria assessment and wrap up my conclusion for my teaching properly. It is so disappointed for me because I am not done so well on that day. But it is come out from my mistakes also because at the beginning I just too concern about my English speech and I keep practiced on that thing only until I failed to manage my teaching time well. I thought I have planned it properly, unfortunately my estimation was wrong because I was too nervous when doing it until I forgot to arrange my teaching properly. When, I was reading your comment for my microteaching on my lesson plan, I am quite disappointed because there’s a lot of things I was not be able to prove it my teaching because my bad time consuming. I realized on my activity part I wasting the time too much until I can’t show sir Furkan properly to prove my success criteria. I am very disappointed about that things.              <br>Last but not least, after I have done my reflections based on all the reviews and comments that I’ve got, I promised in myself I will improve on the next time. The thing was occurred and it was past. So, what I have reflect on the next any presentation or public speaking something like microteaching, I should improve more to plan my time very well and also improve more for my English language so I am be able to speak it very well.<br><br>P/s: Thank you sir Furkan for all your tips and guidance that help me a lot until I be able to do this microteaching and wish me so I can be a good Biology teacher in the future.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After we were done all the 39 presenters for microteching, our last assessment for this course EDU555 is course desgin. We were assigned to do a course design related to our major in group. So my group members is Asyraf, Saiful, Ezzatty, Syazana, Akmal and Tasya. We have thinking a few ideas on what courses we want to design since the last week. So as got approval from all the group members we decided to create a program called "Yes2Healthy Life". The aim of this program to educate adults the important of maintaining healthy body through this program and discipline them on keeping their body healthy by following the correct healthy diet through fun and exciting activities in this program. In this course we want to create four courses that is the first one is Introduction of Nutrition For Healthy Diet, the second course is Food Analysis. The third course, Principle of Food Preparation and Last course is Physical Health for Healthy Lifestyle.<br>We were done our best in doing this course design report together and hopefully to done it and able to submit it before the due date. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Week 14 - Emotional last class meeting with Sir Furkan.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After we have been through 14 weeks classes for this course EDU555 and finally it reach the end of this course. In the last meeting we all the ED247 students gathering with sir Furkan at DKFF2. For the last meeting, Sir Furkan just have casual talks to wrap up this course and some reflections throughout this semester. Some of them willing to share their reflections from this course and getting emotional finally we have did it. As my personal reflection from this course EDU555, thankfully by taking this course it as my new platform to learn more how to get in education field in the future. By microteaching, it really help me a lot to do my best in whatever I am doing. It really improve my skills, my confident level and more. Thus, by doing course design, it helped me to plan and create organized program that really helpful in the future. I would say i was very enjoy in taking this course plus got the best lecturers, Sir Furkan and Sir Hisyam and I hope I have done very well in this course EDU555. Hopefully, I would pass all the assessment from this course with flying colours. Thank you for our lecturer and my others classmates that helped me a lot in order to finish this course.<br>Thank you for everything everyone :)</div>]]></description>
