God is calling every single person to a life of holiness. For most, they find God through prayer, other people, life experience, or interests. God is calling all of us to Him, but we have the power to choose if we want to follow Him. God has been calling me through prayer to my vocation, but I also find my calling through others. The examples that people set for me in my life help me to know what is the right thing to choose. I know these invitations are sent from God because he has given the people that I need in my life to help me decide what is best for me and those around me.

My parents set a good example of what it means to love your spouse and do anything for each other. They have inspired me and affected my decision for my vocation by how they live their lives. They do everything out of love for each other and God.

The purpose of God's plan for us as an individual is to listen and show love and union with God and each other. If we follow this plan for our lives, we will have happiness, peace, and eternal life.

All vocations can be challenging. With marriage, couples often disagree with each other and are forced to work through their issues. With religious sisters or brothers, its digging deep to find the good in all people. With single life, its resisting temptations of sin and evil in our daily lives. The only way to overcome these problems is to love and trust in God that He will take care of us no matter what happens.

Even though we may lose our way to Jesus sometimes, he still loves us, waits for us, helps us seek happiness and forgiveness in Him, and thirsts for us.

In my life right now I am praying about my future vocation, learning about all the vocations through my life and trying to see what is the right one for me. I am also experiencing all the vocations through the people around me and seeing how they live their life. We all need faith and trust in God to figure out what the best plan for our life is.
