Content words are usually nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. Nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs give us important information required for understanding.<br>   Function words help us connect important information. Morphemes is divided into 2, namely Free Morphemes and Bound Morphemes.  From the example below, it can be seen that the morpheme can be in the form of affix, root, and word.</div>]]></description>

Example : – waited, waits, waiting. Inflectional morphemes are always suffixes in English and always follow any derivational morphemes.          <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>Roots: the morpheme base upon which other morphemes are attached to create complex words: un-love-able </li><li>Stems is a word that is given a certain affix but does not change the type of word.  For example root is a noun then steam must be a noun, if root is an adjective then steam is also an adjective.</li><li>A base is any form to which affixes of any kind can be added. This means that any root or any stem can be termed a base, but not all bases can be root and stem.</li></ul>]]></description>
