The Serbians attacked Kosovo with many vicious attacks when they tried for independence. This led to the migration of many Kosovo citizens. Neighboring countries such as Albania opened the borders for these fleeing civilians. However, Albania wasn't able to allow so many refugees, so they created up the Emergency Management Group. The group raised funds from other countries, such as Germany. This can be reflected in the country's demographics, as 70% of people in the country are below 35 years old.
