M: Phobias are an excessive or irrational fear. With phobias people can come into a panic and affect how other people work and family life at home. They can be distracting or hurt someone else because they become violent or try to run from there phobia.

U: Say someone had a phobia of soda in a cup. In that household they could never put soda in a cup, the family and friends would have to work around it and try to avoid it. This is an example of an unrealistic phobia that would be tricky to deal with.

D: Staying with the same example with soda in cup as a phobia. The family or friends couldn't go restaurants or parties because of the persons safety and how they would act around it.

A: This is not a normal behavior because to a lot of individuals having soda in a cup is very normal. With this phobia this person is not normal and violates a norm.
