Conflict with Coworkers

The conflict involved coworkers blatantly not fulfilling their tasks, nor did they care. When confronted by our superior, they were open about not caring about anyone's opinion/stance. Even though they were fired, that didn't necessarily help the team dynamic. Their positions weren't rehired, rather the duties were delegated to the rest of us. It was conflict that wasn't resolved efficiently, and hurt the group performance.

Memes are pretty good ways to diffuse conflict. I was at a foundation meeting and its a bunch old people not knowing parliamentary procedure and starting to yell at each other. So i told em jokes and showed em memes on recess. But yeah. I think it worked.

A few years ago I was on a officer team and a team member wasn’t showing up. He was telling his friends he was thinking of quitting but never once came and talk to the other member or our supervisor. He held an important role and this cause us to be set back in putting on events. This cause the team to start to get angry with each other seeing as I was the leader I had to try and reach out to him. He never responded to me and the other team members got angry with me it was really hard to do anything for a while because of this strain in our relationship as a team. He ended up talking with our supervisor and quitting he never talked to the member on the team again. We still aren’t sure if it was something we did or what happened.

There were two teammates on my team who had conflict between eachother. The productivity of the team was so low that anytime we met nothing was achieved and a negative environment was made, nobody wanted to show up to the meetings and nobody wanted to be around them. It was finally resolved when my FFA advisors stepped in and talked to them privately and helped resolve the conflict.

In my FFA team, we were debating on what we should do for a large task we were assigned to. We ended up clashing and while we finished the task, it destroyed our team dynamic. We are still together as a team and have been struggling ever since because one person is holding a grudge of everything that happened even though they were the main person to start the whole conflict. Overall, it reduced our productivity and made us non-cohesive

The first group conflict is that I told me group member that pick up a topic and do it by yourself, then we put together. I even yell them. Wh I do that because I thought they are hard to finish our project, and I don’t want to spend too much time on them. Finally, my professor told me that you should do something for your team and make it better, which is part of my life I have to learn that work in a group.
