Namely, they spend a lot of time working outside the home, which often leaves them with little time to dedicate to their family life. Consequently, they neglect their relationship with their children and don't notice their emotional state. What's more, most parents are coming home really exhausted. Due to that fact, they don't have any energy left to solve kids problems and give good advice. As a result, it leads to worse communication between parent and the child and creates distance in their relationship.
