MS Forms for Quick Polls in Teams (Orla S)

I find the inbuilt polls (through Froms) handy as you can have them pre-made and ready to issue during an online session. Great for quick understanding check/sentiment/choice of next topic!

I got students to use the free online Wordpress to create an e-portfolio. Very quick and easy to get an e-portfolio online. E.D

I use vevox during online classes to gather information and create a wordcloud from the learners about what they already know about a topic or what they think of when I mention something e.g. GMP. This is also a great brainstorming tool to use if problem solving with a group, everyone gets to "voice" their ideas anonymously without worry of being "wrong". It is a useful engagement tool.

I use padlet to get students to ask questions as they sometimes feel more comfortable doing so anonymously.

Moodle Quizzes, Workshops for Peer Review

Have used Moodle quizzes for assessment and practice assessments, it takes some work in terms of writing robust questions that aren't overly easy, but once you have a good bank of questions built, its very useful. Moodle workshop I have used to assign students for peer review of other students work and offer constructive feedback.

I used Vevox for the first time in a lecture recently as I'd seen it so much in staff training/Ntutorr masterclasses etc, I used it for student polls and like it because there is a PowerPoint add-in for it. However, I don't have many students who attend live so it is limited by the numbers there live, for example my Wordcloud was not well populated.
