I am drawn to those kids but I question my ability to reach all of them. The need is so great. We talked this year about how many Aces, or strikes, they have against them. Kids with a high ace score don't care about our lessons. They care about if they will be fed, if dad will get out jail, and so many other situations that I can't even imagine.
