1. How does the video relate to your experience in school about students' social development?

- Peer relationships need to be worked on. Students tend to be more self-centered, and have small squabbles, arguments, even when students changed classes. They do not really take care of others.
- Perspective taking is not very natural for boys, and they usually do not share their problems. They only open up with their peers only if they are very comfortable.
- Discipline issues and bullying is quite prevalent. Students at 7 years old are very connected online and are very upset when they cannot use their online devices.
- Peer support strengthening needed as there is some segregation among international students and local students.
- Students are more diverse, have more diverse needs, so they also have more issues to manage
- Students do not show empathy, or do not know how to show empathy, as their family backgrounds of single child, both parents working most of the time may have contributed to it.

2. How can we synergise our efforts better? How can we realign existing processes in school?

- SDT efforts must be more synergise, so that the different roles complement each other, instead of duplicating efforts
- Have regular meetings among the SDT KPs and discuss about students, so that as a team, we can decide on how to support the child from different aspects.

And with HBL in place, where access to devices is less limited, there may be possibility that bullying may be even more pronounced.
