Find the time to work/improve your well being. For example, exercising or participating in activities you find comfort in. Going on vacations every break keeps me sane too.

I will birdwatch. It's spending time in nature, being mindful. much like meditation. I find it fulfilling and pleasant.

Do not take things personally from coworkers or students, you're going to be working in a very stressful environment.

Also, use your time off to the max! Buy a plane ticket somewhere!

I try to find different hobbies that take my mind off of things. I've been swimming, meditating in the mornings and needle point and yoga in the evenings.

I will do what I enjoy doing outside of work, like watching movies, playing sports, etc. in order to relax and not come into work with an attitude and take it out on the students. I hope to connect with them on a personal level and form a bond with them.
