BIG NATE IN A CLASS BY HIMSELF by Lincoln Pierce

Start Date: 16/8/2016
Finish Date: 21/08/2016
Genre: Graphic Novel
Summary: There was a boy called Nate. He is in Grade 6. He gets a fortune cookie and it says "Today he will surpass all others". The whole day he tries to follow the fortune cookie. This ends up being bad because he gets all these detentions but in the end he gets good luck. The lady in the detention room said he had set a record for detentions so he was happy about surpassing others.

Something I noticed in this book was: Nate behaved differently depending on which teacher he had.
Something I wondered about when reading this book was: how did Nate get so many detentions just by trying to do something good.
This book makes me think about: if I was going to get a fortune cookie and the same thing might happen to me.
For my next book I would like to read: a mystery.

Rating:****
