2. Once you have a problem code, brainstorm what could cause this issue. For example, a TV with the problem code No Power, Standby Light is OFF might just not be plugged in!
3. Place your common cause under the Troubleshooting Category you think it fits under. For example, No Power, Standby Light is OFF: TV not plugged in is definitely a user error!
4. Go to the TV Survey and look up steps for your Problem Code. You can select any MFR and Model for this activity.
5. Try to match the TS steps in the survey to the troubleshooting category they help rule out.
6. Check out the No Power, Standby Light is OFF examples for ideas!
