The theme of the story is to not only love yourself, but to try and love other people. Narcissus is very full of himself, and he only seems to love himself. This goes along with the theme when he leaves Echo to die, but then only cares about himself. Katniss just woke up from after the force field exploded and her first instinct is to find and kill Peeta. Katniss was trying to find Peeta, but then she was caught by Haymitch. All the victors from districts 
3-11 were protecting Peeta and Katniss so they could fuel the rebellion. Katniss is angry tho because they did not get Peeta and only got her.
