I try to eat healthy but junk food always finds it way to me, so I'm a victim of junk foods. I prefer coffee than tea because most of the tea I have tried were bad in taste. My name is Brenda Xiong and I am a transferred student from Fresno City College. I have not attended school since 2015 and I am excited and quite nervous about my first semester at Fresno State. I want to obtain my Bachelors degree in Business Administration with an option in Human Resources/Accountancy. I am originally from Guadalajara, Mexico but, I have live here in Fresno, CA half of my life. I have a little family of six which, consists of two children, two dogs and a husband. With that being said, I prefer Healthy food over junk food but, it is just impossible to not eat junk food with such a busy life. I do not drink coffee nor tea. However, I am sure that this semester coffee will be my best friend. My favorite restaurant it is any Mexican restaurant that can make some good enchiladas, beans and fresh tortillas. Hi there, I am a junior here at Fresno State majoring in business administration with entrepreneurship as my option. I transferred this year from Clovis Community College and I am excited to be here at state. When I am not working I am either outdoors hiking or in the kitchen baking. I run a small baking business through Instagram and hope to one day open up a small shop locally. I do my best to eat healthy and charge up my body with natural and clean foods. Recently, had the chance to try authentic Cuban food. I recommend fried plantains and "lechon" also knows as pork. I Prefer coffee over tea the bitter the better. I'm going to be honest, this new campus and set of instructors causes me great anxiety and stress, however, I know that this is only the first week of instruction and that rest of the semester all depends on a strong start. I have yet to declare my option but as of right now I am considering either information systems, marketing, or finance. I moved to Fresno two years ago when I started attending state, but I am originally from Arvin, a small town about 20-30 minutes from Bakersfield. When choosing between healthy food or junk food, I have a hard time decided. I do not necesarily eat much junk food but I wouldn't go as far to say I eat too healthy. Lately I have been trying to eat more healthy though, so I would say healthy food. Between coffee or tea, I definitely would choose coffee. Every morning I always make an iced coffee to start off my day. My favorite restaurant is Hino Oishi here is Fresno, they have the best fried rice! It is so good especially with the hot and spicy. If you have not tried it yet, you all should!

My long term goal is to become an elementary school teacher. I love kids, I love art, and I love teaching! I’m currently working with teaching fellows and I could not be happier! Living in california is completely different than New York. I feel like there’s so much to do in New York than in Fresno because there are so many tourist places to visit and there are museums, theaters, and fancy restaurants everywhere. Another thing is that NYC has a great mass of transportation which means you are actually better off without a car.
