January 26, 1918, was her birthdate. Her family moved from Poland to Antwerp, Belgium, when she was ten years old. It was there that she attended school and developed her fluency in five languages. Mala's wrists got slashed at the table and she smacked the SS guard in the face as she realized her life was about to end. Then they hurried her to the hospital. She did not return. While some may say she was shot, others say she died from blood loss while being transported to the hospital. "Long Live Poland!" was Edek's final words before he was hung.

She sacrificed her body and life for herself and many others to not let the SS treat her disrespectfully. Even though for the most part they were nice to her since she was always so kind and helpful. They sort of favored her since she could speak all of her languages so fluently.
