In a recent survey carried out in the UAE, it was found that over 60% of people surveyed owned a pet. As a pet owner myself I love spending time with my dog, but find my busy schedule means that sometimes I cannot spend as much time as I would like with my pet.

Recently after I was out hiking with my family and dog, we decided to get some lunch in a restaurant. When I went to the restaurant, the owner would not let us in as I had my pet with me. We had to try several restaurants before deciding to go home disappointed and hungry.

In Ras Al Khaimah there are over 300 restaurants to cater for the growing number of people in the city. Many new families are moving to the area with their pets, but despite this there lacks a dedicated restaurant that caters to people who want to enjoy a meal with their pets by their side. 

This gave me the idea to open my own pet friendly restaurant in the area that would cater to the needs of the many people who are in my shoes. The restaurant will be a space for pets to be able to socialise and for pet owners to be able to enjoy a meal with their pets by their side.
