I use GMAIL calendars to keep track of parent meetings, lab and room schedules, as well as for sports. I have only used them sparingly with students in my class so far, but that will change next year as I develop in Google classroom.

The question I have is that I only see my personal calendar when I sync with my phone and would like to see other calendars as well and not sure how to sync those as well.

I use GMAIL and Google Calendar to stay organized and communicate with students and parents. I add all events and meetings to my personal calendar. I use calendar to schedule certain rooms and areas in the school for meetings. I have added several calendars to ensure I am aware of events happening and important dates at our school.

I do not currently use Google Calendar in my classroom. I think it would be a great tool for students to use. They would be able to list all assignments, quizzes, tests, and events by day. This would enable the students to view the week and prioritize. I plan to work on using gmail and calendar in the classroom next year.

I use google calendar to help keep our team and school events organized. It is especially helpful to link to the bloomz app we use for important dates. All of my calendars I can access from my phone or laptop and reminders pop up on my phone for IEP meetings, parent meetings, observations etc.. very handy.

I haven't utilized google calendar in my classroom, but I know there are ways to use it in conjunction with google classroom to help students stay organized...I am also thinking this video chat option would be a great way to communicate in small group discussion...I will have to test it.
