Card sort (sorting according to rules eg mo + seimhiú/ fréamh briathra: a.ch. takes séimhiú/d’ 7rl),
card match( mo on one card , mbord on another soenst match, bhord on another card therefore it matches)

snap (fréamh of verb, if doing a.ch. two féachs would snap and then child must say d’fhéach)

Bleachtairí Foghlama:

1.Show an example of the new grammar rule being taught, say it aloud, write on IWB, find an example in text, highlight in books, type and print out

2.Once they have info tell them they are detectives and see if they notice anything groups/pairs

3.Feedback / Discussion: guide if necesssary

Rialacha:

1.Once they have discovered new grammar rule, explicity teach the new rule. Break it down into manadgeable chunks, quality over quantity. Make it graphic: draw on IWB, illustrate, use a poster, use digital display, digital display:powerpoint, canva, graphic.

2.Ask pupils to explain rules to each other in pairs

3.Ask pupils to explain rules back to you
