We are ask to wait at the hotel lobby while waiting for the HR staff miss Nurul, after she meet us, she start to take our name and account number to be registered like official staff, after that we all been brief about our work scope and where are we going to be places during this 4 month. For my duty is 1 month at coffee shop, 1 month at the banquet, and 2 month at house keeping.

After that we have to make thumbprint for our attandent, we all also have to follow miss nurul to see around the hotel, and after that we go take our duty shirt, and been sent to our workplace.

At my workplace coffee house or rooftop restaurant, i have been introduce to boss mr Khairi, mr Amir the manager and Ghana my co-worker, ghana have show me and teach me what i have to do, after that we go do some cleaning plate and set up the table for dining and ala carte dish. After that we have a job to take a juice at another block. To refill the juice stock at the coffee house. For today we got a korean and chinese group.

  • But today have a further job that is handle boomplate which we had VIP eating during lunch like 16 person. We serve sup, then boomplate and lastly dessert to them. After finish i was wapping a new plate and then set them to their place.

While waiting to check out,  i was set up juice glass (buffet area) and goblet (bar area)

But the different today i was teach to handle the cashier. Every guest are given the card. So if the breakfast are included i can scan card auto. But for the guest that doesnt bring card, i can enter manually by just knowing their room number. 

If their are not register they can paid directlu or just ask to the F.O to give them their boucher. 

That all, after set up plate and goblet on their place, i can go home after check.out from hotel

After 10.30am we close the breakfast, then i clean the buffet area. At 11 am we staff eating together to talk about proplem and anything to be improve. After done eating i start to wipe the clean plates and other need at serving area.

After that my manager teach me how to check in properly manually and auto, because today i make a mistake for 1 person check in for 2 person

Then after that i cleab buffet area and start to setting buffet area after settle wipe the plate.

After that we go eating together waiter chef and manager together. 

After that i wipe the left plate, then i go for rest a minute and then help the setting buffet area and setting the plate on their area. 

After that we have to clean the bar becAuse their will be a spotcheck at the evening. They are mostly difficult to handle, so to make it more easy. We just let them in. But we cant make like this everytimes just for some reason only.

At 8.15 am, a new waitress that should be work at 1/3 enter and ask for me to teach her about serving.
So i start to teach her by greating guest and i told her to ask the guest for tea or coffee. 

After that, i teach her about clearing table, then i teach her about setting plate on table.

After 10.30 we close the breakfast, i teach her to clean buffet area and at 10.40 we start to eat and rest a bit. Then we start to wipe the plate. After setlle we setup them on their place.

At 1.40pm we start setup the buffet area and i ask her to snap some picture to make her work easier next time. After settle we setup the glass and goblet at their place. Then we rest at 2pm because our work already settle. They use it until late night and forget to sent it back to us.

Then at 9.25 am i was held chinese tourist which have some problem to go to the place that he have to do site visit. So i help him by show the place which he want to go (pasar seni). Yesterday he also ask for my help how to go to nearest lrt. I was teach him to get grab but he want to use taxi. He is nice person. I dont get chance to ask for his name

Then after that, i get to clear buffet area for breakfast. Then i go refill the juice which we have low fat milk, full cream milk, mango, orange, guava and apple juice.

After settle i start to wipe the plate with new waitress then i help to setup the plate.

Today i was ask to do overtime for first day. It quiet tired, but everything going fine because of the new waitress make the work more faster. She do the wiping and i do the setup plate on their place.

Everything going smooth all day. By the way, im doing overtime because of we had to serve for lunch. Everything is to fast. Buzzing trail is full in no time. Then after lunch settle we start to clean the buffet area then wipe the plate again. Then i go to clean and wipe buffet area of the dirty and dust.

Then at 5 pm i can go back because my overtime is already over.

4pm part time check in

5pm rest and eat

Continue the table setting

After that. Heard the briefing for the wedding position 

Then start the weddinv on 7

We take the food step by step from

Appetizer, after 15 minute, take soup, granitie, main course, desert and guest desert, 

We clear the wedding set. And settle the buffet for tomorrow.. then i can go home at 1 am

then after we finish, had a problem that one of our room that we do the sprint clean is forget to clean the toilet bowl.

3. sent perm spray bangladesh worker to level 2,4,6,8,10,12 for only room no 1 and 12 for every floor.  because he want to spray plant for each floor.
4. pickup the iron and board at every level.

then at 2pm, razali (part time worker) come and replace me for morning shift.
