         <description><![CDATA[<div>We measured the mass of the entire cup (including beans) and then subtracted the mass of the cup (which was given) to get the mass of all the beans. After that we measured the mass of 3 beans (separately) and then took an average. Lastly we divided the total mass by the average mass of one bean to get a result of <strong>128 beans in the cup! </strong>The <em>actual amount </em>of beans (after counting them one by one) was <em>173</em></div>]]></description>

After TARing the electronic balance, we put the beans back into the cup and measured the mass.&nbsp;<br>3. We measured the mass of five individual beans and we found the average.&nbsp;<br>4. We divided the total mass of the beans(found in Step 2) divided by the average mass of an individual bean(found in Step 3)<br>5. This resulted in the prediction of 107.<br>6. To verify our answer, we counted the beans one by one and we got the answer of 107.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Our guess: 189<br>Actual: 217<br>1) Measure the mass of the entire cup of beans, and subtract the weight of the cup to only get the mass of the beans.<br>2) We took 5 different beans, and weighed each of them individually and found the average of their mass.<br>3) We took the mass of all the beans, and divided it by the average of 5 beans.&nbsp;<br>4) With that we got 188.89 which we rounded to 189 since you can't have part of a bean.</div>]]></description>
