]]> 2024-05-30 07:58:23 UTC https://padlet.com/livelyeffectincorporated/20240530/wish/3012910187 공항중 김은숙 https://padlet.com/livelyeffectincorporated/20240530/wish/3012910274 미국의 중남부 시골 지역에서 마이너로 살아 본 경험이 있습니다. 언어도 문화 소통도 잘 될리 없는 곳에서 견딜 수 있었던 것은 따뜻하게 품어주었던 이웃집 할머니였습니다. 6.25 전쟁의 참상과 전쟁 고아 정도의 인식밖에 없는 분이었지만, -저와의 언어 소통을 넘어서- 한 인간으로 저를 존중해주며 타국에서 잘 살 수 있게 많은 도움을 주셨습니다.

우리도 편견을 버리고(물론 많은 교육이 필요하겠지요?) 이웃이 무슬림이건 아프리카인이건 가슴을 열고 먼저 다가선다면, 그들도 한국의 일원으로 잘 살 수 있지 않을까 생각해봅니다.
