I am an undocumented student and have struggled because I have no social security. My college advisers have helped me and I am more than grateful to have them to help me through everything. Advice I could give is to not wait at the last minute to do everything and always take advantage of the resources given to you. Until the beginning of my senior year of high school, I had every intention of doing anything other than going to college. After meeting the college bound advisors of Lanier, I was instantly intrigued and had a sudden urge to see what other choices I had. Being pushed to attend the East Coast College Trip which consisted of visiting multiple colleges that I had never known of, I discovered Smith College and instantly fell in love. While being clearly in love with the college itself, the cost to attend the school was something that reminded me why I did not want to attend college at all.
