My favorite part is when he finally realized that he was doing a resolution all along, I think before you thing one thing is true you have to look at other things that you have said or done. In this case Squirrel didn't think about what he had done so Rabbit told him that his Resolution Is that he helped someone each day! Gregory is wanting to spend his summer in his room, playing video games, in the dark. Although his mom doesn't agree, she wants Greg to go outside with all the other kids. Well Greg invited Rowley over and soon enough they get into a fight and they're no longer friends. His mom still wants him to go outside so he goes on a walk and tries to find someone. Most of the kids aren't the type of people he wants to play with but then he comes across Fregley. He hated Fregley he asked his mom why was he here and she said I invited him over, next thing you know he is behind a tree naked. A few weeks later Greg's birthday roles around and he has a family party then when he goes in to eat his cake his uncles dog is on the table eating the cake then his mom cuts off the parts that the dog ate and gave Gregory a slice. He said he had lost his apatite. A month later they all went into the car and drove to a water park a few minutes later when they all get settled Greg feels a few drops of water, a few minutes after it's raining and the guy comes onto the intercom and say's, the park is now closed dew to the weather. So everyone has to go home and there stuck in the middle of a huge traffic jam. Then when they got back they found Greg's fish dead. In the book there are different perspectives from different people. My favorite is when Luke uses the bathroom and when he comes back he sees "The cool girl" crying . He had never seen her cry. he went back in a little while later and there was water on the floor. Luke slipped on the floor but then the principal walks in and she slips while wearing a skirt and worst of all she had a wedgie!!!! He didn't do anything about it and Jeff just keeps gaining more popularity so he is just saying, oh I hated Bradley he was never my friend, he is dumb, he is stupid, I hate Bradley. Now as the reader you know all the sides of the story and you know everything that happens (not everything) but think if you were someone in the story you wouldn't know as much as the reader.
