My name is Eleeziana Lindongan (SB1502BD8519). I am taking course Bachelor of Education In Early Childhood and currently at my last semester . I have create this e-portfolio for to do a report and reflection what I have learn in class.
I have a reason why I choose a degree in Early Childhood, I like teaching and talking in front of my friends in classroom. In addition, I have a nieces and nephew, I get interact with them. I realized that, when I spending time with my nephew and nieces I really enjoy with them. This is because, the children always have a curiosity about something new and always funny, that is why I like to teaching children. Also, I have a dream to open up my own preschool.





MY PHILOSOPHY IN EDUCATION
The philosophy I go by is that in order to learn, have an interest, and passion in the subject that we take. Never give up in study while facing a problem to academic. As a future teacher, it is important to know about the responsibility when teaching the children. For examples, teaching children using the interesting way so all the children will enjoy and understand what their have learn.

In week 2, we had our first lecture. Miss Nelsie is our lecturer for this subject Educational Technology. Other than that, Miss Nelsie introduce to students about the subject Educational Technology. This subject we will learn about the digital trends and tool for teaching and learning materials that can be used in the classroom. Next is, we went through our course plan to get to know what we will be learning throughout the semester.
We were also briefed about the assignment, quiz, and forum. There are have two assignment, assignment 1 is individual, and assignment 2 is group. There are have a quiz online in Uniec, we watch the video first then answer the question. This week we are study about the educational theories. There are 3 philosophy that we learn about their theories. The first is, Skinner. Changes in behavior that result from stimulus-response associations made by the learner. Second is, Jean Piaget. He believe that, cognitive development is a progressive reorganization of mental processes as a result of biological maturation and environmental experience. In addition, learner construct an understanding of the world around them, then experience discrepancies between what they already know and what they discover in their environment. The third is, Jerome Bruner. His theory about the learning is an active process. Then, learner select and transforms, constructs hypotheses, and makes decisions, relying on a cognitive structure to do so.

In week four, we learn about the internet rules which is also known as netiquettes. This lesson is important because, nowadays, most of us spend most of our time on the internet. By being aware of these rules and following them, it will ensure our safety and also others. As a teacher it their responsibility to tell their student in the classroom about the rules when using the internet. When the students know about the rules, student will be careful of using the internet and also they only using the internet for find more information about the subject or assignment.

Other than that, in week 5 class, we also learn about Howard Garner’s Multiples Intelligence. There are 8 types of intelligence. Which are musical, logical mathematical, intrapersonal, interpersonal, bodily- kinesthetic, spatial and language.

In this week, our lecture is about the learning theory. It is interesting and I have get many information about it. Then, we also learned about the learner’s level of involvement. There are 3 types, which are low involvement, medium involvement and high involvement.
We continue the four models of teaching. The social family, the information, the processing family, the behavioral system family and the personal family.
The social family is defined as the emphasis on human learning occurs in social setting. The information processing family is aimed at emphasizing ways of learning specific information. The behavioral system family is, concentrates on observable objectives, it is means we can see the way of students acquire the knowledge and skills. The last is the personal family. It is an approach that acknowledge the uniqueness of each learner.

For the week 6, we are continue about the multiple intelligence. So, the multiple intelligence is further elaborated in the class. For example; a person who is musically intelligent is one who is good at singing and playing instrument. A logical mathematical intelligent is one who is good at calculation, and logical question. Intrapersonal, is people good and understanding themselves and setting their own goals . on the other hand, interpersonal people are good at relations with others. Bodily - kinesthetic intelligent people are good at movements and physical activity. Spatial intelligent people are good at visualizing, drawing and designing. Lastly, linguistic intelligent, is people are good at speaking, writing, reading and so on.
