I know that devotion is like the fuel to making a person successful. If a person truly wants something, they would make sacrifices for it. A person needs to experience failure for the success to feel special. It creates a contrast.

i know this is a very inspirational speech about how you shouldn't base your life on what others think. Jim wants people to know that you can do what you want, rather than thinking like everyone else. He's basically saying he wants people to think outside the box.
